More details...
We will have an initial conversation regarding budget, diamond cut, and the style you are looking for. Your budget will help us narrow down the color and clarity of the diamond. You will also choose what kind of diamond cut you are looking for, whether it be round, emerald cut, oval, etc. And finally, what style you are looking for. Lifestyle can also help influence ring style. This initial conversation can be via phone, email, or in person in our office.
Once we have this information, we will source the finest diamonds within the market. It usually takes about 2-5 days to source and acquire these diamonds. We will prepare 3 to 4 diamonds for you to view at the following meeting. Here at McTeigue, one of the most important factors we take into consideration is the cut of a diamond. GIA’s color and clarity factors are somewhat straightforward; however, the cut of a diamond is what can make it truly beautiful. We are trained to search through all available diamonds to choose the most beautiful cuts, as this is what truly sets a diamond apart.
Upon choosing the diamond that you feel most drawn to, we will begin the manufacturing process. At this time, we ask for a 50% deposit.
Our trusted jewelers have been manufacturing top quality engagement rings for over 25 years. The manufacturing time is about 3-4 weeks.
Once our jewelers complete the ring, we inspect it to ensure that it meets our top standards. Once deemed ready, you will receive your ring, original GIA certificate, and insurance appraisal.
Our job is only finished once you and your beloved love the ring. Therefore, if it is not to your liking, please let us know right away. We also offer complimentary ring resizing should the initial size not fit.
