A very rare & stunning belle epoque platinum & diamond necklace, from the old American jewelry house Shreve & Co of San Francisco. The necklace features a lovely elongated antique pear shape diamond weighing 3.62 carats and graded by the GIA as D color, VS2 clarity, Type IIA (possibly originating from the famed Golconda mine in India).  2.15 carats of additional Old European Cut diamonds adorn the curved Edwardian station and throughout the handmade chain.  The necklace is 15 inches long to the curved station.  Signed: Shreve & Co.
