Michael McTeigue

One of Michael’s fondest memories growing up was sitting on his father’s lap at age 7, holding a jeweler’s loupe to his eye, and gazing at a magnificent Kashmir sapphire. By 14, Michael was already designing rings from his father’s collection of fancy colored diamonds.

At 22, Michael moved to Switzerland to apprentice with a highly esteemed estate dealer. When he returned to the States, Michael joined the family business and started attending estate jewelry auctions around the world.

Shortly after Michael’s father sold the jewelry design and manufacturing division – which is now owned by Tiffany & Company – Michael took over leadership of the estate buying and selling arm of the business.

Almost 35 years later, McTeigue continues to grow and flourish under Michael’s leadership. With deep passion for his work and an engaging personality, Michael is a sought-after speaker at industry conferences around the world.

Michael holds a B.A. in Humanities.
